Barr. Titilayo Oyenusi is a seasoned legal practitioner with nearly two decades of experience and a sustainability expert, holding an LLM and an MBA in Sustainability from the Schulich School of Business at York University, Canada. With a strong foundation in law, corporate governance, and  sustainable development, Titilayo brings a unique interdisciplinary perspective to the board. She bridges legal strategy and environmental innovation, focusing on advancing circular economy principles and promoting responsible plastic use. Titilayo is committed to advancing policy, advocacy and research that drives systemic change, aligning closely with the Research Plastics mission to combat plastic pollution and promote sustainable innovation.

Engr. Yemi Ogunlade

(Director)

Engr. Yemi Ogunlade is a trained civil engineer, business development expert, and entrepreneur, with a valuable work experience gained in the past 24 years from multinational corporations such as LafargeHolcim Group, PPG Industries Inc, and Kansai Paints. He is an industry expert with a deep understanding of material science. He is an alumnus of the University of Ilorin (Nigeria), Lagos Business School (Nigeria), Strathmore Business School (Kenya), and Manchester Business School (United Kingdom). He is the Founder/Managing Director of both Thriving Engineering Materials LLC and 23 Development Ltd and an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Directors.

Prof. Paul Mativenga

Professor Paul Mativenga is the Chair in Multi-scale and Sustainable Manufacturing and the Head of Department of the Department of Engineering for Sustainability at the School of Engineering, the University of Manchester, Manchester, United Kingdom. He obtained a PhD and MSc in Manufacturing Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing Systems and Technology respectively from The University of Liverpool, UK. He is excited about developing engineering science solutions to the major challenges of resource efficiency and industrial sustainability, with over 20 years of experience in teaching and research. He is a member of the International Academy of Production Engineering, College International pour la Recherche en Productique (CIRP) and a Fellow of the RSA and has editorial roles for SAGE and Elsevier Journals in manufacturing science.

Prof. Harry Wichers

Prof. Harry Wichers is a Professor Emeritus at the Department of Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering, North West University, South Africa. He is a registered Professional Engineer (mechanical and systems engineering), with more than 30 years of experience in Technology Management, both in the corporate and academic sector. He has authored numerous articles

Prof. Michael Ayomoh

(Director)

Prof. Michael Ayomoh is a Professor at the School of Engineering, Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering, University of Pretoria, South Africa. He obtained B.Eng. Agricultural Engineering, MSc. Industrial and Production Engineering, and PhD. System Engineering from the University of  Ilorin, University of Ibadan, and University of Lagos, Nigeria, respectively. With about 20 years of research experience, he is an expert in the fields of Systems Engineering, Robotics, and Management systems, covering research areas such as Systems Requirement identification, Analysis and Design, Life Cycle Analysis, Optimum Performance of Systems, System Dynamics Modelling, Systems Interaction & Behavioural Prediction, and Relationship of Things. He has authored about 48 publications, including book chapters, journal and conference articles, as well as served as a reviewer for at least 21 international journals including Elsevier, Springer, Taylor and Francis and Emerald.

Dr. Kunle Olatayo, PhD

(Executive Director)

Dr. Kunle Ibukun Olatayo is a circular economy and sustainability expert with primary interest in plastic material flow modelling, value chain management, resource efficiency, sustainable waste management, and clean energy. He has contributed significantly to the field of circular plastic economy, with a number of articles published in reputable high impact factor peer-reviewed journals. Among his recent works is a book titled: Plastic circularity: Data development, flow analysis and value chain coordination, which is under publication with ELSEVIER, a topmost publisher of peer-reviewed scientific journals. Dr. Olatayo takes interest in bringing leaders (government, businesses, academics, etc.) together on developing sustainable solutions and promoting policies on circular economy, particularly for plastics. He holds multiple qualifications including PhD. Development and Management Engineering (North-West University, South Africa); MSc. Environmental Technology (University of Teesside, United Kingdom); MSc. Civil and Environmental Engineering (University of Lagos, Nigeria); and B.Eng. (Hons) Civil Engineering (University of Ilorin, Nigeria).
