Dr. Kunle Olatayo, PhD

(Executive Director)

Dr. Kunle Ibukun Olatayo is a circular economy and sustainability expert with primary interest in plastic material flow modelling, value chain management, resource efficiency, sustainable waste management, and clean energy. He has contributed significantly to the field of circular plastic economy, with a number of articles published in reputable high impact factor peer-reviewed journals. Among his recent works is a book titled: Plastic circularity: Data development, flow analysis and value chain coordination, which is under publication with ELSEVIER,  a topmost publisher of peer-reviewed scientific journals. Dr. Olatayo takes interest in bringing leaders (government, businesses, academics, etc.) together on developing sustainable solutions and promoting policies on circular economy, particularly for plastics. He holds multiple qualifications including PhD. Development and Management Engineering (North-West University, South Africa); MSc. Environmental Technology (University of Teesside, United Kingdom); MSc. Civil and Environmental Engineering (University of Lagos, Nigeria); and B.Eng. (Hons) Civil Engineering (University of Ilorin, Nigeria).

Dr. Taiwo Babarinde, PhD

(Director, Sustainability)

Dr. Taiwo Babarinde’s research and practice intersect with sustainability, waste management, and clean energy technologies. With over a decade of academic and research experience, he holds a PhD, MEng., and B.Eng. (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Johannesburg, South Africa, Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta, Nigeria, and  Federal University of Technology Akure, Nigeria, respectively. He has contributed significantly to the development of low-emission biomass cookstoves and co-combustion models for waste-to-energy systems, with several papers published.  Dr. Babarinde brings a dynamic blend of hands-on experimentation, computational modelling, and environmental advocacy aimed at building a cleaner, more resilient future.

Mr. Oladipupo Olateju

(Director, Projects and Development)

Mr. Oladipupo Olateju holds a BSc. in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management from the Lagos State University, Nigeria. Prior to his current position, he has worked in various establishments and managed various projects. He was a former Marketing and Trade Executive at Jobberman; Communication and Public Relation Officer for Lagos State/MTN Street Soccer competition; and a Partner at Afrogala Limited. He has several years of quality experience in project management, campaign coordination, awareness creation, and practices and processes improvement. He possesses skills and extensive knowledge in data analysis and process optimisation.

Mrs Temitope Oyedeji is a seasoned professional with several years of experience as a dedicated teacher, skilled event planner/coordinator, and dynamic compere. With a strong academic and professional background in education, she is passionately impacting young minds, bringing creativity, structure, and enthusiasm to the classroom. In the event industry, she is known for her exceptional organisational abilities, attention to detail, and seamless coordination of events ranging from intimate gatherings to large-scale ceremonies. Mrs. Augusta Ugwungene

Mrs Augusta Ugwungene has over 10 years professional experience spanning the banking and manufacturing sectors. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business
Administration and Management from the University of Science and Technology, Enugu, Nigeria, as well as certificates in management courses. A motivated manager with expertise in planning and managing operations,communicating effectively with clients, preparing reports, and providing executive administrative support.
